The annual Kentucky High School Journalism Convention was held
May 6-7 at the Clarion Hotel and Conference Center in Louisville.
One of the highlights of the convention is the presentation of
awards for the high school contest. In April, professional journalists
from across the commonwealth met at the studios of Kentucky Educational
Television to judge the entries. About 15 volunteers poured over
hundreds of entries from school from across the state. The winners
were announced May 7 at the convention.
