Kentucky
newspaper representatives spent time with freshman Congressman
John Yarmuth, right, during visits to Capitol Hill at NNA's Government
Affairs Conference. Yarmuth, founder of Louisville Eccentric Observer,
is the only member of Congress who is a member of the Society of
Professional Journalists and as a newspaper publisher is cognizant
and supportive of the many issues facing newspapers at the federal

Princeton Times Leader; KPA Executive Director David T. Thompson;
Scott Johnson, husband of Kriss Johnson, KPA President; and Max
